A non-refundable Booking Fee/Chute Fee of $___________ is payable when this contract is signed and returned. This fee is applied to the total breeding fee, the balance $____________ of which is payable prior to the first shipment of semen.

A Photocopy of the registration papers shall be sent to the Breeder with this contract.

There will be a Collection/Packaging Fee of $125.00 per shipment charged to mare owners who utilize Transported Cooled Semen. The $125.00 charge must be paid to Burchett Equine Center prior to transporting semen.

A refundable semen container deposit of $250.00 must be paid to Burchett Equine Center prior to transporting semen should the Hamilton Thorn Equitainers be used. If a disposable container is utilized there is a $___________ fee for each disposable. Refunds are not available on disposables.

The cost of shipping the container via Fed Ex or Same Day (Counter to counter + Courier Fee) is the responsibility of the mare owner.

Equitainers must be returned two day mail. Mare Owner will pay all cost for return of Equitainers back to breeder. A charge of $10.00 per day will be deducted from the deposit if the semen container is not received by Burchett Equine Center within five days from the day the semen was transported. Please do not return disposable containers.

The breeding must be done at a qualified breeding facility or under strict supervision of an approved Veterinarian/Breeding Center.

The mare owner or representative must notify Burchett Equine Center when the mare comes in heat.

Burchett Equine Center MUST BE NOTIFIED PRIOR TO 10:00 A.M., Eastern Time ON THE DATE THE SEMEN IS TO BE SHIPPED. Semen is available on breeding days Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The breeding season for Transported Cooled Semen begins February 1^st and closes June 20^th at which time all shipments will be discontinued.

Live Foal Guarantee: Live foal means the foal shall stand and nurse. It is understood that if the mare proves barren, aborts her foal, or if foal is stillborn a return season is guaranteed for the following year only, providing proper notification is given. Proper notification is a written certification by a licensed veterinarian within seven days that the mare has slipped or produced a non-viable foal. Mare owner certifies that such abortion or death did not result from any act or omission of the mare owner. Booster rhinopneumonitis vaccinations must be administered as indicated by the individual drug manufacturer as the mare progresses through her pregnancy. Failure to do this will void the Live Foal Guarantee.

All rebreeds will be charged a chute fee the following year.

Paint Color Guarantee. Rebreed in _______________ with a $_____________ rebooking fee.

In the event of the stallion’s death or unfitness of breeding, the breeding fee will be refunded but the booking fee and any fees related to shipping of semen will, at all times, be retained by the Breeder.

This Contract is non-assignable and non-transferable.

This contract is governed by the laws of the state of Georgia. All accounts are due and payable in Walton County, Georgia.

This contract is not valid unless completed in full. When Mare Owner Signs and returns the contract and booking fee to Breeder it will become a binding contract on both parties
